Calming the Beast

Roscoe's heart rate has been lower recently and I think that it's due in part to his music. Alisha got her music player so now he (and she) won't be forced to listen to the same 6 songs from his sound machine over and over again.

She played music all day for him and he seemed much calmer, which we have noticed in the past kept him calm. He didn't need nearly as many sedatives, which means he was able to stay active for longer periods without a threatening heart rate (ie: 180+ beats/minute). For the previous few days, any time he was moderately awake his heart rate would get too high even if he wasn't agitated, so they'd sedate him to calm him down. We are hoping that this isn't a coincidence and the music is helping to calm him down. Music soothes the soul, and we can see that in little Roscoe.
