Our Little Clown

The last pictures we took of Roscoe were ones where we put a little clown nose on him. It was a nose that my mother bought us to entertain him with, but we thought it would be cute to put it onto him instead. It almost made his trach ties look like a clown's collar and bow tie:

First reaction to something on his nose, scrunching up his face

Wondering when we will take the nose off

Looking at us, wondering what is so funny

  1. Roscoe was one to always humor your jokes. Willing to make you smile at his own expense. He is a gift that keeps on giving!

  2. Shaun and Alisha-i have never commented before but I have followed Roscoes story since March when I started searching for another baby like my son Finlay. Finlay was a 26 weeker and is 6 and half months and still in hospital. He has chronic lung disease and being treated with sildenafil for ? Pulmonary hypertension and recently was diagnosed with tracheobronchomalacia. Roscoe has made me ask questions about Finlays care and I wanted you to know that his legacy has not only reached around the world but made a difference to another boy. My heart breaks to know he has left you but this wonderful blog will mean he lives forever in the hearts of those who have shared this journey with you. I am so so sorry for your loss and send you love and strength. I have faith but am not particularly religious but I admire your faith and I hope it will get you through this. Sarah xxx
