The doctors have increasingly said that the baby's heartbeat is looking better and better. During contractions there are still a few drops in her heart rate, but overall her heart behavior is looking more mature (which implies growth). Below is a screenshot of her heartbeat (the top line) which shows a few fluctuations, but is mostly flat. It was taken on the 2nd or 3rd day in the hospital:
To show the progress she's making, this is what her heartbeat has looked like the past few days. Notice how it fluctuates more and she has gentle periods of an elevated heartbeat, which is what the doctors look for to indicate a healthy heart:
