Keep Praying

I have never been so happy and so scared at the same time. Roscoe seems like he is starting to recover. He is still on 100% oxygen, but his saturation has stayed high for the good part of today. His morning nurses even commented that he seems much more stable than he was just yesterday. To us, it seemed like Roscoe's stability was going over a cliff. Thankfully, he has continued a good trend and it looks like he will make it to Father's Day. I attribute all of this progress to prayer.

Today the blog has had more views than ever before. The post I put up this morning has already been viewed over 3,700 times. I don't know how many people are praying, but we can tell that there are many. We have received messages of support from around the United States and even other countries. If you haven't yet added yourselves to the prayer map on the right hand side of the blog, please do so. It will let us and others know just how many cries God is hearing for our boy.

We are starting to see positive signs as he regains use of his muscles. The paralytic drugs are now down to 20% of their original volume. I have seen Roscoe's feet and legs start twitching, he is sucking very weakly on a pacifier, and his arms are flopping around almost uncontrollably. He is even starting some finger movements and he has opened his eyes several times. He is still on very dangerous ground, but your prayers are working. God is hearing about our little Roscoe.

Later tonight I hope to post a picture of him with his eyes opened up once again by the power of God.
